Porter House Gift

Tonight my owner and The Other Guy went downtown to have dinner. On their way back they stopped at the Time Warner Center up the block at one of their favorite restaurants, Porter House.

You're probably thinking the same thing I did - why would they stop at a steakhouse after dinner?

This is David. He works at Porter House. He met my owner and The Other Guy to give me a wrapped gift!

A BIG FAT BONE! From Porter House! For me!

Friends, Part 5

I met this little girl outside walking one day. I'm really upset because I cannot remember her name and she's probably my favorite person I met so far. She actually came over to pet me twice and she was so gentle and caring and asked if I was ok. Every time she pet me my tail wagged - she had the special touch. I have a feeling working with animals is in her future and she could be a very good vet some day.

I met this group visiting from Maine while wheeling through the Time Warner building. They wanted to know all about my condition and were very kind.

This is Ebony and Harmony. The little girl kept reaching over to pet my nose! I made her smile :-)

While in the Time Warner building I had to take a picture by the Botero sculptures (like the lady next to me is doing). They always have these two huge Botero pieces but for the holidays they have some special Dali pieces there, also.
I know, I know, very touristy. Sue me.

A Special Treat

Today was so beautiful here in the city (65 degrees!) that we decided to enjoy the weather and head out for a special treat.

A few blocks away is the Time Warner Center - one of my favorite parts of the neighborhood.

The towers hold *pricey* apartments, offices and the CNN studios but it also has a group of some of the best restaurants in NYC. The first few floors is an indoor mall.

And on the 3rd floor is the delicious Bouchon Bakery...

...which was packed today!

It was a long line; I guess the good weather brought everyone out. But it was worth the wait...

The selection looked scrumptious, as always, but I just ordered my usual which is right up front by the register.

Foie Gras Dog Biscuits! My favorite! When I'm good I get it as a special treat.

And a treat for my owner, too!

Yuuuuummmmmyyyyyyy - fois gras. Lucky for me in NY the poochies eat as well as the people!

Today was a great day. Maybe tomorrow I can coax my owner into getting me some caviar!
